I've been searching for information on this bow and can't find enough information that makes me want to purchase one.

Can anyone provide any knowledge on the Nirks Woodsman bow?

Thanks in advance.

Not a Woodsman but.......I had a Nirk Frontiersman longbow. What I found out was Nirk bows were made by Martin. They may have even been a sister company  off of Martin Archery. My Frontiersman longbow was exactly like the  Vision but with a different riser/grip. I actually like it better than my Vision.

Thanks for the information. With that said, I'm going to jump on the one I found.

Several people manufactured bows for Nirk.  Martin was one of them.  I once owned a Martin Rebel that had Nirk scribes on the limbs.  I have seen some bows that looked very familiar. It turns out these bows were Woodsman model and looked to be a copy of a Saxon American Recurve.  These were if fact made my Randy Dehnel.
