Yup.  Not magic, still a little "art/skill" to it- but it sure gave me the confidence and ability to makes things sharp.  As stated- get the diamond coarse to raise that wire edge on the first side- that is the key.

Bears can attack people- although fewer people have been killed by bears than in all WWI and WWII combined.

So is everybody using diamond stones with the kme??
If...(and that is always a big small word) IF I'm using it properly, I find with new heads, to "set" the bevel I want (25* for me) I use the diamnod, but thereafter, touch up is easy with Ron's "Red stones" on the BH Sharpener (roller gizmo) and his standard stones on the knife sharpener.

The aggressive diamond tend to help remove metal quicker to "set" the bevel where many good heads these days are a bit harder then some earlier heads, ergo, tougher to remove metal.

Make sense? [/b]
Umm kinda.. I guess best to get ahold of some diamonds and doing some trial and error. Thanks
