Hey all,

I picked up a pack of the MAGNUS 100 Grain BuzzCut Broadheads today on the recommendation of the guy at the bow shop.  Since I haven't ever used these broadheads I wanted to get some opinions on them.

Does anyone use these heads?  What do you think about them?  Are the serrated heads like these better than just the plain edge for hunting deer?  Any other info you care to add about these broadheads would be helpful.

Thanks for your time.

Personally I would never use the serrated heads with any type of bow, the penetration is much better with a smooth, two blade, razor sharp head.

MY Bad, I meant to say MAGNUS....

Thanks for pointing that out.

Would you all rather have the Buzzcuts like I just bought or Steel Force 100gr. smooth edge heads?  I was also thinking about the 100 RazorCaps.

Nala... you'll do fine with the Buzzcuts. Like the rest of Magnus' stuff, they are top shelf.

The serrate edge is tough and wickedly sharp and in my experience is harder to dull than a smooth edge.
