To those of you who use the Ghost Blind (Mirror Blind), do you treat the cardboard side with any water proofing?
Or is that not a problem?

Bob Moran

I think it is already waterproof. I've not had any problems with mine.

It's more of a corrugated plastic. I don't think it will be an issue.

No treatment required

Great blind, sometime a little bulky to get through woods though

Lol dead center would be correct, I do recommend buying the extensions even though it's only 6 or 7 more inches it feels better to be behind

How do you like your blind? I'm thinking of getting one for quick moves/ wind change issues.

I like mine I will say I carry pruners just to put a few branches in front, with the mirrors the few branches really make that thing disappear

A buddy of mine used one last deer season on a foggy morning and thought all was good until it was time to get out. He wanted to see how well it looked and was gonna take a picture.  When he went around to see it. It was fogged up like your windows do, almost looked white.

Yeah, I could see where fog would effect it, but for the most part it would work really well and, you could always put an anti fog coating on it.

Fogging happened to me, also. I had set up the blind the night before and the next morning two small buck that were nosing around close to me suddenly looked my way and turned around and left. When I took the blind down I discovered that the entire mirror surface was coated in dew.
