I've got my longbow tuned. 29.75" 1916 with 125 grain field point.Arrows weigh 460 grains. Should I buy 2 or 4 blade stingers? When I shot wheels i always hunted with the 4 blade 125s. I'm using an arrow that weighs 9 gpp out of a longbow. Never went this light but they fly beautifully. Does the bleeder make a big difference in pentration? I do think the bleeders wouldput a little extra blood on the ground. The bow is a don dow stik 50 @ 28", and i draw 28.75. Thanks, Matt.

4 blades!!!! I think Magnus made the perfect size bleeder on the stingers....big enough to cut but not too big to effect penetration. The only down side to the 4 blades to me is assembling them and sharpening the bleeders with the KME!! You shouldn't have any problems at all!!!

This has been discussed in many post in the past and some think it helps some think it doesn't.  I have used the ones with the bleeder blades for about 4 years now and they work great.  I use them out a 43# LB and have gotten complete pass thru's on both deer and pigs for what it is worth.

Thanks guys, I was hoping to hear that have killed lots of deer with my wheel bow with then and really loved em. I did a little more fine tuning and I have both 1916s and 2016s flying perfectly the 2016s are 31" with 145 up front. Ill use these with 150 grain 4 blades. I like the little extra bit of arrow weight, I also like that I have options  :) . Matt.

We probably sell 4 blades 5 to 1 over the 2 blade Stingers

I'll be using the 4 blade buzzcuts this year.  I agree that the bleeders are the perfect size to give a little more blood but not impede penetration. Hopefully we get to "field test" them this year.

4 blades, my all time favorite broadhead!

Well, I just bought some 2-blades to try out on pigs. I may have to give the 4-blades a try if I like these.

I used several stingers, Both 2 and 4 blade on deer and bear. My personal experience is the 4 blade leave better blood trails without much if any loss of penetration.

I liked the 4 but I would always get a little rattle with the bleeder so I switched to the 2 blade a couple years ago.
I think the end result will be the same if you do your part. Great heads!

Thanks guys. I'm getting antsy waiting for opening day. 17 more days.

4 blades have worked well for me. I sharpen the bleeders with a file so I don't have to take everything apart. A file can put a wicked edge on those bleeders!

I get the same, but you can tighten the screw that holds the bleeder and it's cured.
