Gt5575 lengthened to 33.75, 100 grain GT insert with 90 grains behind that, and a 2 inch aluminum footing. Total arrow weight of around 700 grains with a 125 tip. Shooting a Raptor longbow 55@32..Scott.

I have been working toward some HFOC and I want to get to EFOC but I need the stiffness and that usually makes the arrows heavier. so far I have yet to break an arrow after footing them.
both bows are drawn to 29.5-30"
for my bamabows hunter 67lb at 28" I shoot Goldtip velocity 300s 30.5" standard inserts with 300gr points, 1" aluminum footings for a 634gr total.

For my bamabows tribute it is 75# at 28" and I use Easton axis .260 at 30.5" with a 75gr hit insert, 300gr points, footed with 1.5" of aluminum, 4inch arrow wrap and 3 4" feathers for a grand total of 766grains.
you want durable arrows use footers. I blasted through my target  and burried my fieldpoint 1/3 of an inch into cinderblock bending the tip of the fieldpoint and my arrow and footers were still perfect.
I have blown out some knocks and am tempted to put some aluminum back there for a collar but so far haven't bothered, since I have had no carbon damage even on stone hits.
I tried some GT khaos .200s but they came from GT at only 29 inches... shame to.

I agree with Manitou1.  I too use Maxima Blue Streaks with my draw of 30.5.  Best arrow recovering out of paradox I have shot and handles wide range of draw weights and shelf materials. Scott

We draw the same and I shoot about 3-4lbs less. I like Gold Tips myself..I don't bother to shorten them usually and generally shoot a 175 grain point. No issues so far.

I've got a 30" draw and i shoot either GT trad 5575 full length with 250 up front or a Easton trad only full length (the ones from 3 rivers) with 250 up front out of a 61# longbow.
