What do you guys recommend on procedure for removing arrow wraps?

I don't know what is best.  I put them under a faucet with hot running water for a minute or so and peel them off.  Wasting less water, fill a pail with the water and stick more than one shaft into the pail.

Hot water or a hair dryer.  A little heat will help them peel right off.

I strip wraps off my 5/16" dia carbons with a Stanley utility knife with a hook blade designed for roofing contractors. I prefer DeWalt hook blades over Stanley. The hook blade fits 5/16" shafts perfectly and makes wrap removal fast and easy. I follow up with rubbing alcohol or Goof Off on a rag to remove the remaining glue residue. Hook blades are available at Home Depot and Ace Hardware.

I use my heat gun set on low.

Hair dryer.  My wife wonders what I'm up to and I usually get "that look"     , but the hair dryer is fast and easy.

This will take them right off. Then a quick wipe with denatured alcohol and you are ready to go.

A hair dryer will work, just slower.

I use my Zip Strip tool I remove my damaged feathers with. Then clean with acetone or alcohol.

My finger nail.  Takes a little effort to get them started,  but once I get a pretty good chunk of the wrap started, it comes off fairly quickly.

I've tried steam, hot water, hair dryer's. Never had great results with any of them. I bought a fletcher stripper off the auction site. It's called Pro Stripper by Cir Cut. Works really well. You will still need to clean the area up, but the wraps and fletching are gone.
