aside from the skeeters and heat (no gators here in mo) the fun part comes when you have to wade into some murkey back water for your arrow! May not have gators but we do have snakes and snappers.

Jakeemt

Bow hunting them can be very challenging whereas with a gig I usually limit out quickly.

Jacob,

You are right, taking a limit (25 a night here)is a real challenge and has yet to be done by me!

Thanks John for the link to the tutorial. Looks like even I can build some of those frog points. Gonna give it a try. Looks like a fun project.

South MS- I wish I have a total limit of 8 here! lol what's tricky here is finding frogs of good size! I have a bunch of little bulls at my usual whole but the big bruisers are hard to come by. Still a blast though!

JEFF B

looks like shooting frogs is  fun. but sad to say we don't have the sort ya could eat

Jeff,

It is more fun to me than other hunting due to continued shooting opportunities! Much like bow fishing but with better table fare

Jeff has me rather curious about what type frogs they got in Aussie land... they poisonous to eat or something?

They have some wonderfully unusual stuff there...

Maybe they really DO have green blood or soemthing yucky!?
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!
