Can you suggest broadheads for Easton Axis Traditional?

Hi Everyone,

Picked up some Easton Axis Traditional arrows that was part of a deal.  I am wondering what broadheads are out there that are compatible with the 9/32 threads on this arrow?  I would prefer a good two blade single bevel but am curious what folks are using with these out there.  These are 500 spine and I am probably going to cut them down to 27.5" BOP.  Gonna be shooting them out of a Bama Hunter that will be about 51 pounds at my draw length.

As always thanks in advance for the information!

I'm using a 200 grain Abowyer screw in with no problems.

Before you cut too much try them with your point weight.  I use a 29.5 inch Easton Axis Traditional with 225 up front at 50#'s. Depending on the center shot of that bow, you may find you need a lot of weight up front with the arrow cut to 27.5 BOP in a 500 series and 51# draw.

Every broadhead will be compatible with the Axis arrow, it's the injexions that require a special head.  I'm shooting Simmons land sharks on mine.

Thanks Guys!  Scott, I was hoping someone would say Abowyer.  I am a big fan of those heads.  I was thinking the 200 grain bonehead screw would be nice.

Ray - yep, I agree, I'll probably take them down little bit at a time.

I suggest you also give a look at the 200 grain Cutthroat broadheads from RMS Gear. They're CNC machined from a single piece of steel so they spin on perfectly. Also very reasonably priced.
