I picked up a old Red Bear 50" AMO bow last week.
Does anybody know what the draw length, pull weight and approximate brace height should be?

I'm looking to give it to a friends daughter and want to have it setup for her.

Thanks,
JD

My 1st REAL bow, was a Red Bear!!!!!

The draw length is pretty much "unlimited" as with most fiberglass bows. I think most pulled around 25# @ 28" Probly around 15# at 20" For the brace height, I'd try about 6"

Get some wood youth arrows and cut them down to about 2" more than her draw length. Taper the ends and glue on 5/16 field points. They fly like darts!!!!!
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

There is a fine line between Hunting, & Sitting there looking Stupid...

Glad to see this post. I have three of them, and all need strings. Hopefully, before too long this info will be useful when I set one of them up for my grandson.
