Tall Tines

I wanted to say a public thank you to "Bisket" Mark Mingerink.

I posted a want add earlier in the week for a Tall Tines Longbow.  Within an hour I got a response from him, offering a TT Longbow  with  perfect specs.   He sent it and I began shooting it right away.

Man, I love longbows and most of them require some TLC and a lot of prayer and patience to shoot well..    This bow was different from the 2nd shot.. I changed the rest to a material that I like on all my bows.. A rug rest...   From that point on.. . Oh.. Baby!!!!

The TT L/B is the Tundra Model "D" Shaped Limbs.

I heard they were good, and I just wanted to try.  I honestly figured with the "D" shaped limbs it would be a dog...

WOW!!!  I'm totally impressed with this bow...
It shoots as flat as any bow I've ever had.  And it looks amazing with those D shaped limbs..  The grip is great for a low wrist style shooting and has good mass weight..

It spines really easy and is the most forgiving long bow I do believe I've ever handled..

Quite is an understatement on this model.. The D limbs are the quietest bows made imo.  and this is just unreal...  has some two tracks wool silencers on a SBD string.

I don't get handshock from it and I'm completely impressed with it in every way.  Brain at Tall Tines really hit a home run with this one.

I am gonna be getting another one from him, but am in a decision cramp as to get either the D limbs again or the new R/D limb design...  Will prob get both sets...

But honestly, if you are a 3 pc. longbow guy...
These are tops in my books...

I know all bows shooting a decent weight arrow have a pretty good drop off after 20-25 yards.. I don't notice hitting low until around 35 with this bow.. I'm shooting a 475 gr. arrow too.. Only pulling 47 lbs.

My friend got one at the same time as myself. He got both the tundra 62" and 60" stickflinger limbs.

The tundra is 3# heavier and they shoot virtually the same speed.

They both shoot great, no hand shock and equally quite. The only difference I see is that rubber band feel that you get out of a classic D shape.
