Broadheads

Anyone ever use Steel force original 2 blade broadhead.? see them on sale for $20..Looking for my first broad heads..newbie

Never tried them but I recommend the Magnus Stinger they are a little more money ($30) but are a quality broadhead with a great warranty should you break one. Stingers have a proven track record and have killed a ton of animals.

I've had the steel force heads curl up on me. They flew great but after seeing them curl up I moved on.

I shot two deer and one turkey with them mounted on CE Heritage shafts. Yes the tip curled on the buck I shot, but 40 yards and a big smile later none of that mattered to me.

I'm going to give simmons a try this year. They seem like quality heads. I'll hopefully get to try them out on some critters this year.

You'll probably go thru numerous heads before you settle on ones you like. If you ever settle.
Me personally, I'm a zwickey guy.
I've never used the steel force but some guys I know use them and are happy. Good luck

It's pretty much a "hit em' where your supposed to" thing. Going back 25 years Ive probably used at least 10-12 different heads with equal success.

Zwickey Black Diamonds, They were good enough for Fred Bear before he made the razorhead.  My dad killed a 100 plus animals with the Black Diamond during his hunting days.

And round the tip off and do away with that sharp point.

If your looking at two blades you might want to check out the Ace broadheads, very strong well priced easy to sharpen and several different weights to choose from. I've killed a lot of deer and turkeys with them and never had a tip curl. They have been in business for a long, long time for a reason.

Blood trails are ok too, lol!
