I captured some good trail cam photos this morning of turkeys on one of my food plots. A dandy gobbler showed up for the first time this spring with some lady friends, including a bearded hen. Hope he's still around in a month when I can hunt him.

Cool pics! My buddy shot a bearded hen a couple years ago. I also saw a big tom all strutted up this afternoon with a group of hens. Really got the fever burning! Lol
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.

Nice pics Tom! I hope you get him! I just got back from a little drive and saw a lot of turkeys. I'll be out listening for gobbling in the morning!

Cool pics!  Can you shoot bearded hens in the spring in WI?  I've always wanted to get one.  Missed one a few years ago and haven't had a chance at another one yet.  Good luck this year.

We have 24 days left here in WV, which most everyone agrees is way to late. Kentucky borders us and their season comes in a few days.

I just finished a two night seminar on turkey hunting put on by NWTF and NCWRC, no doubt making me an expert. While I was washing breakfast dishes today, I noticed a lone hen working her way up the driveway, so I snuck out the kitchen door as soon as her head was behind a boulder, snuck up to the woodpile next to the driveway and crawled along the wood pile, keeping out of sight, until she walked past me 8 feet away. It will probably be my last Close Encounter of the Turk-ey kind until after the  season ends in early-May.

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.
