I am looking to get some new targets. Iam thinking about a Big good bag and some kind of target for broadheads maybe a Blob? Thanks for any thoughts. Bill

I just got a blob a few months back.. man is it dense!  it is some thick stuff!!  Great target, very heavy.

I do 100# feedbags from the feed store for .70 each and stuffed with old plastic. The sun will eventually degrade them but I just restuff. I hang them out in the woods.

For broadheads you can't beat a sandpile. You can build a 3 sided enclosure for the sand. It will never wear out.

If you include shooting blunts in your practice sessions, maybe consider some hanging targets.  I suspend empty plastic bottles from bungees.  Granted, I have more open space to allow near misses and richochets than may be practical for you, but it's helpful to be ready for squirrel hunting etc.

As we get older our bow weight goes down and our body weight goes up, One of Lifes little jokes.

I use a feed bag stuffed with folded feed bags or plastic shopping bags and hanging from a tree limb or rafter in my basement. I also have a couple of plastic bottles hanging on a length twine. I use field points and it is surprising how the hanging targets absorb the impact of the arrows and the arrows never penetrate anywhere near the fletching.
May your friends be as many as the promises you keep.

This is what I was going to suggest, it's what I do.  And a stall mat behind the bag...

There is carpet in the back and I just put 3D targets up front. Right there I am shooting BH's into that target. I pull a tarp over the backstop when I'm done for a while. Bales last 4-5 years-I rotate them.
