Way to go!

Those are beautiful arrows.........mine never seem to turn out as nice so I shoot them at everything and never worry...

Yours are almost too nice to shoot....

I didn't have any of the stuff that I read about online to do the cresting so I used what I had in the workshop.

I used a stain to stain the shafts first.

Then I measured ten inches on each shaft and put a wrap of masking tape there.

Then I used a foam brush to put the red paint on.

Then I put the arrows on my arrow roller and hand painted the yellow and silver on over several days for each colour.

Finally I put three coats of clear sealer on and fletched the arrows.

It was a ton of work but I really enjoyed doing it.

You really did an awesome job with these. Can't wait to see your future creations.

Great color combinations,.............. be careful,................... you'll get "hooked".    :readit:
Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!

GS those are very nice looking and way fancier than I have done after years of making arrows.  Congratulations.

One comment on your bow string setup. ...have you considered a double nock point? ? It helps eliminate occasional fliers from the arrow moving down the string during the release.  Cheap insurance for sure.

No I hadn't thought of that Ray but its a good idea. I think I'll put one on before I go shooting next time. Thanks for the tip!
