Limbs are to die for! Anyone done a thorough review on the 52 incher?

To my knowledge, I'm the only one he's made them for. What would you like to know?

Wow, those are awesome!  Great choice of woods on both bows!

The short take down recurves I made for Prairie Drifter are copies mimicking Rocky Recurves that he sent me.  Rockies aren't being made any longer.  I reluctantly made those, since I really would rather made my own designs, and not try to duplicated the work of others.  To me the designs I came up with are a product of my creative thinking, an art I suppose.  And to try and make another's design, to me, is like Toby Keith trying to sing a Miley Cyrus song. (Vice Versa as well)

Guess a summary wont be necessary since they wont be in production I see your point with respect to copies. You did an excellent job. Thank yall for the reply.

I will add, John Morris, who made the Rocky Mountain Recurves was a Bowyer among bowyers. An engineering genius.  I've never had the chance to talk to him.  But to attempt to match that kind of work, all I can do is try.  I don't know the taper rate he used for his lams, and in fact it even appears that he tapered his fiberglass, but it hard to tell.  Why a guy who built bows of that caliber quits doing it, is beyond me.

I ordered a prairie predator from Mr Mecredy, my first custom anything and I am beyond excited.  Seeing all the great pics of his work has me counting the days before I get to lay hands on my new bow!
