tree sharks or tiger sharks

Anyone tried both, 165 gr. works better with my current setup but I don't sweat 10 more gr. Any thoughts. Currently shoot grizzlies and woodsmans.

I have no personal experience with either one. I'm a single bevel 3:1 kinda guy. I've always been skeptical about real wide blades and flying right, but I can't help thinking about how that tree shark would immobilize a turkey. So I'm getting some tree sharks for this turkey season. Everybody tells me they fly great as long as your bow is tuned good

I had the interceptors and they flew great. I felt like tbey flew better tban fiel points.

They are both 1/916 cut,but the 165 grain landshark is a little shorter. I've shot the Tiger Shark and the Tree Shark,and they both flew great. The Tree Shark is out there by itself at 2 inches.

I've shot the 165 gr land sharks and they flew good. I've got some 175 gr tiger sharks on the way now. I plan to use them this year. I hear they're awesome. .

TREE SHARKS are unreal! They penetrate much much better than they should and make a HUGE hole! They will fly the same as any field point as well. They are the only broad heads I will shoot from elk sized game down.

My quiver usually has some of each in it. Do your job and either will do theirs. If you like to trail standing up straight go treeshark!

I talked to the owner of Simmons Broadhead today and told him how I wasn't sure about the tree shark flying right and he said the tree shark actually has less surface area than a standard Magnus head which is also the reason they penetrate so well ....he is a very nice guy to talk with even if it has nothing to do with his broadheads

BTW the tree shark isn't the only over 2" wide great flying heads..... Jim at Centaur archery has one that is slightly wider then the tree shark.

I shoot Simmons and they fly as good or better than most two blades I have ever shot.

I have been shooting the Safari's and love them, fly great!

I plan on using the tree sharks for Turkey Season just for the 2" diam for those tough jokers..

Is there any penetration or flight problems with the big Tree Sharks out of light set ups like 40-45#?

Answering your question posed with draw weight alone md126 is hard to do. At what draw length are you achieving the 40-45# and how efficient is your bow andwhat are you hunting?

After looking at some wound pix, they have me wanting to try Treesharks, but don't have the coin to buy a pack... Anyone willing to part with one to try in like new or decent condition for $10?

Old goat. I draw 29" and the bow I have now is around 49# at that draw. My next bow will be a little lighter though, Prob 45@29. Thanks
