I just used this new burger system and I straight up love it! I will never go back to foodsaver bags or butcher paper for burger again. Not that food saver bags or butcher paper are not good, I just like this better! this is cheap, efficient, save time and they stack really well in the freezer!

Those are all I've been using for several years. The tube on the grinder fills the game bags in a jiffy. And like you said, they stack so well in the freezer.

Looks like a great system first I need to get a better grinder..... :)

Love your videos, thanks for sharing them.

That's the way all my burger is done!

I may leave burger in my freezer for 2 or more years depending on how much I have to start with.

Burger or sausage packaged in the above mentioned bags do not retain their freshness for more than a year and start to absorb freezer odors and change to a gray color on the outside.

Burger I vacuum seal is still fresh after 3 years.

3 YEARS OLD my God! My deer burger doesn't last 6 months! It's the first used over store bought for burgers, taco's, meat loaf, meat balls,  etc! I can't imagine 3 year old deer burger. It's never happened in my household in over 30 years. lol Seriously! Properly cared for cut and aged deer meat doesn't last long enough in my family to qualify long storage means. A lot of folks that don't eat vension burger just haven't had it processed correctly! It's way better than store bought "burger"!
Most people get rich by making more money than they have needs, me, I just reduced my needs!

I was widowed a year or so ago, one deer lasts me two years as I don't cook as much as I once did. I gave away 3 deer this year and kept one.

Back when I had a teenager in the house it was easy to consume 3 or 4 a year.

Those tubes take much longer to thaw for use, than the vacuum bags, which are flat and thin.

Vacuum  pack in qt size vac bags. Roll flat after sealing with rolling pin. Stacks easier, freezes faster, thaws faster. If you forget to thaw meat for dinner, put some water in sink, throw sealed bag in water, come back in 5 minutes and it is thawed. Only way to pack burger  in my mind.

I started with butcher paper then went to a food saver vacuum system then to this system. I can say with 100% certainty that from now on I will be using this L.E.M system! We harvest and eat about 6-8 deer a year and i am so tired of making food saver bags and paying the high prices for them. as a efficiency minded person I always hated to handle the meat so many times with the bowels, then to the scales, then to the bags, then to the vacum sealer.
This system in my opinion is faster, cheaper, more efficient, and stacks better in the freezer than any food saver bags i ever did.
I love it, I love it, I love it!
If you never tried it give it a shot and see if you like it for yourself.

I still use the food saver for the steaks and roasts but no venison sits in my freezers more than 6 months and that only happens if we get 10 or more deer. we live on wild game as a family and eat it constantly.
This burger system took the only part about processing deer that i hated and made it fast and easy.

I have the LEM grinder and system. Still prefer vacu seal. Buy bags bulk from a friend who is a processor (easily available online bulk). Grind once, then eye into a bag, seal and flatten. Like others said, freezes/thaws fast and stacks great. As fast for me as messing with the tubes, bags and taper.

If you eat it quickly, I think the sausage bags are great.  But, I'll use the vacuum seal because we tend not to eat a lot of venison

That's the only way to fly. I have used a similar setup for years.

Those bags are available from Allied Kenco, wholesale, along with sausage supplies and many more food handling items. You can also fill the bags with chili/stew and freeze for deer camp.
