Hi guys! I just recently picked up a Ben Pearson Rogue off of **** for $75.00. It's the 1974 model not the 1976 model with the red wood in the riser. In a Pearson catalogue it mentions this bow having reinforced limb tips, this caught me off guard. Is that possible or is there some other meaning for it. When did companies start reinforcing their limb tips? Hoping for some Pearson lovers to chime in here:) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They're just tip overlays, not made for hard strings.  Some will tell you to get a padded hard string and shoot away, others will tell you to NEVER do that.  Chance you take is up to you.

Thank you very much. I thought so. Just needed some reassurance from someone who knew for sure.
