Here in East Texas our anterless season ended last Sunday. I didn't come close to a shot opportunity earlier this season but as luck would have it this evening I had two does walk by me four times at 8 yards. They seemed to know I can't shoot them now and gave me numerous broadside poses for more than 15 minutes. Maybe next season. At least I can still shoot a buck if one happens to walk by.

The only shot opportunities on deer I have gotten in the last two years have been out of season, so I feel your pain.  The most recent was back in July when I was on a quota hog hunt, I stalked a doe on the ground, for fun mind you, and she never knew I was there.  Pity.  Have yet to get close to a deer so far this season.  Hang in there.

I know the feeling...I'm tagged out for bucks and have had 4 bucks (2 nice ones) broadside within 20 yards in the last couple weeks...

I know what you mean Doug! It sometimes amazes me how the critters seem to know which season is in and which is out!
