Has anybody tried this aggressive hunting technique?

I can see where this technique would work. I have pulled some aggressive tactics with mature whiteys and that was basically get on the ground with them rattle and call. As far as running thru the woods carrying a decoy and then charging at them, I personally don't think this would work in the area I hunt. Also it seemed to me that the only deer they were pursing were 100% in the chase phase. I like the idea of thinking outside the box but I think this is a "perfect storm" type hunting. As far as public ground and "only during bowseason" from what I know about the poachers in my area they could give rip if its bowseason or bullfrog season. Law breakers are opportunist. Id make sure I could be identified as human behind that decoy. Just my 2 cents.

They never left the camera in one place long enough for it to make sense.  Must be ADD. Or something.

WarpedArrow, if you watch the whole video (which I think this is a trailer for), there is lot's of good footage.

My little brother sent me this DVD for Christmas.  I recognize some of the public places they hunt.

They are places I hunted when I was a in high school and early 20's.

Looking forward to watching the videos.

Looks like some exciting hunting. I know a few guys who do similar hunts with a Heads Up Decoy for whitetails, mule deer, pronghorn and turkey. I'm taking my turkey fan from this past spring to do this but haven't tried it on deer, just don't really have a place where I think this would work very well. Atleast not yet anyway
