My 55 pound Thunderhorn loves GT 55/75s cut to 28.5 inches with 205 grains up front, three 5" feathers - some say that is too stiff a shaft but they fly like darts and hit exactly where I look.  I can get by with 35/55s cut to 28 inches but they don't fly as well.
Everything has a price - the more we accept, the more the cost

Kopper my math tells me your only shooting 14.3 per inch . Don't know if I'd change a thing

For the money its hard to beat GT 3555. All my bows around the 50# range love them.
God is good, all the time!!!

My bow is #45 at 30in draw. Iam shooting full length 3 Rivers trad only 400 spine shafts with 145gr tip. Fly like darts.

Have been quite pleased in hunting with Victory VForce HV shafts for many years now.

Set up a close trad buddy this fall who is shooting a 52@28(actual 27" draw) BW PSA.

He had excellent BH flight out to 40 yards with the following arrows:

HV350...29 5/8"...50 gn insert...250 gn BH...518 gn total

and

HV350...28 1/2"...100 gn insert...250 gn BH...563 gn total

and

HV300...29"...100 gninsert...300 gn BH...626 gn total

Note: He chose the 563 gn set-up

***Many viable choices for arrow selection

Why change if you like what your shooting...yes, they are a little heavy. I have those in blemished at a very good price...less than half price as a matter of fact.

But if you just wanted a ligther set up, you could go to the CX 250's or the Gold tip 340's...yes you read that right. This year gold tip is coming out with a 340 trad to replace the 300. and that should be a good choice for you.

Don't forget the arrow dynamics tapered arrows. Lites would work nicely and they are super tough. Very tolerant to tip weight as well.

My BW 53# longbow loves CE 250 cut at 29.5". I have 20 gr weights behind the insert and shoot 175 gr heads. 550 gr overall and they fly great!

Best of luck
