What mod-heavy set-ups are they working for.
I want to improve my 78# set up and .300 GT are too weak(and light) with my required length and 400 grains on the end. Can't cut them any more(30+) and really need more weight to get to the desired 750ish weight overall. Sapcut's double alum footings will get the overall wt. darn close.
I tried ADs HH(yep, they work) and just can't find the love, and don't want to mess with woodies for this project.
Thanks

Have you tried adding weight to the knock end with GT weight system?  My understanding is if you weight the back it makes your arrow stiffer. Good Luck!

Thanks but I want the weight on the front. The double footings could stiffen the spine a bit though.

I use the gold tip big game .250 full length with 350 gr  up front on 66# @31+" bow cut past center and they are on the stiff side for me yet working not too bad It should work good for 78#.
You may build out the strike plate of you bow with thicker leather pad and then may be able to shoot your regular .300 shaft as well
La critique est aisée mais l'art est difficile.

I have used them all at one time or another.

My set up was this : 30.5" draw (at the time), low to mid 80lb center cut RD longbow at 30". four hundred gr up front and full length shaft. I shot the kinetic 200's and kilt a few critters with them, but always went back to my 7595 trads.
Don't know what bow your shooting, but with a 7595 and 400up front you can do this:

buy two sets of 50 g aluminum inserts and a dz 1/2" set screws and locktite.
Now, grind off the collar on one set of 50g aluminum inserts and butt them together with the set of inserts that still have the collars using locktite. Insert the double length insert into shaft and voila. you now have a 750g +- arrow that will walk the dog! and still cheaper than the kinetics.
I have never liked how nock weighting made my arrows fly, but have done a bunch of building out of the side plate...works well.
Let me know if you would like to try some as I have a couple dz here that I can no longer use. They are too short for me as my draw has increased to 31.5"
good luck, BIgJim

Stalkin4elk,  Big Jim certainly knows about finding bullets for heavy bows.

I also use the GT Big Game 100s, as mentioned above,  with 500+grains up front pulling 71#s. They will definitely work for what you want.  They are 10.5 gpi.  At 31 inches plus 435 up front with footings you would be very close to your target weight.  They are also very strong and durable shafts.  I really like mine.
