Ok, my wife bought a 40lb 58" Grizzley at a rummage sale. It cleaned up real nice after I took some ancient adhesive off and threw some wax on it. It is green and grey stained wood with brown glass. Can anyone help me locate the brace height? I'm thinking 8"?

Thanks,
Wissler

Bear bows from that era came with about 9" brace height. They came with strings 5" shorter than the unbraced length instead of 4" like most do these days. However, I always ran 8-8.25 on my old bear bows. Don't go lower than 8.
