I've got some new broadheads coming that are 11/32. Does it matter if I use 5/16 adapters? I saw some 5/16 long and some 11/32 short and they are both around 30 grains, which is what I want to get the total grains I want. I just thought the 5/16 long filling up more of the ferrule even though it didn't fit as good might be the better way to go. Just wanted to get some opinions. Thanks.

You'll have to check when they come in, but I'm going to say that likely they will be to small for your BH and not fit flush.

As long as your shaft dia is 5/16 or less you will be fine.  There will be some ferrule behind the adapter, but that's not a problem and may be even stronger this way.

Thanks guys. That's what I was asking Flethcher,I thought it would be stronger with the 5/16 long. I have some of the 11/32 shorts. They are cheap so I will get some of the longs and give them a try. Thanks again.

What fletcher said but the 11/32 shorts will work just fine also.  The shorts were made for heads with bleeder blades that you insert into the hunting head.

I had a problem  with that scenario before.
The 11/32 head overhung the insert and bottomed out too far in the head.Squaring up the head never happened until I took the head and hit it a lick
on a grinder til the adapter hit the insert..not the back of the b'head. If she doesn't true up..that's probably the trouble you might run into.Easy fix.
