Once again I am seeking the wisdom and advice of those much smarter than myself.  I am looking for a good grain scale to weigh arrows and components.   The idea of electronic does have an appeal.

anybody used the hornady 1500gs?  Other recommendations welcome

thanks in advance

I got mine from Big Jim's. It's very easy to use and inexpensive.

Most trad archery suppliers sell a little black grain scale the runs about $20.  Works just fine.

Any local smoke shop will have cheap AWS grain scales for around 20 bucks. I got one that maxes out at 100grams, which is about perfect for arrows and such.

The electronic ones from nockingpoint, BigJims, etc work awesome.  A great $20 investment.  Saved me TONS of headaches.

Bears can attack people- although fewer people have been killed by bears than in all WWI and WWII combined.

If you are looking for a non electronic scale you probably have to go to a re-loaders  scale (ammunition) The are expensive but foolproof.

The electronic scale are cheap and do a good job

www.tuffhead.com   has one as shown below
