Byron Ferguson Heavy Hunter tuning

I've been tuning some HH 500 spine arrows. Gold Tip states that these will be stiff, well, not so much I'm finding. In fact when all was said and done they tune exactly the same as 3 Rivers Trad Only 500 shafts when shot from my HHA Redman, 68" 50#28". Arrows are 29" with 200 - 225 gr out front.
Tried the same arrows on my HHA Sirocco, 70" 52#@28" and they were way weak. That bow is more center cut and smokes. She purrs with 5575's with the same weight in on the front oddly enough.

I shoot 55-57 pounds @ 29.5
I have had the best luck with 400 spine. I am shooting full length with 125 grain field tip with 50 grain insert. Mine fly really great. I like the HH shafts.

Yeah turns out I was getting a false weak indication. It was hitting the riser and kicking tail right (I'm left handed). Added another 100rg to the front and all's well. Extreme FOC and drops like a rock past ~ 25 yards but what a whack when it hits the target!

LOL. It's amazing what weight does. Proud you got them dialed in. They are great shafts.
