What are thoughts on this bowyer and bow?  Have a unique opportunity and am trying to learn a few things.  Did a search, saw good results but asking anyways.

Bob Stager

Contact Braveheart Archery. He probably has a few in stock

I was asking if people has opinions on the bow in general.  How does it shoot feel etc

ed cowden

I got one this year. What lead to buying it was I got one here used that was too lite so I called Jim about new limbs and wound up ordering a new bow fit to my hand. I went to Compton this year a shot a BW recurve that I liked very much so I asked Jim about his static limb recurve. He said I could add them to the order and if I didn't like them I could send them back. When I got the bow ,it was love at first shot. The grip fit perfect and the static limbs are almost silent and smooth as can be. I don't think you can go wrong with the bowyer or his product. Good luck.

Jim builds a fine shooting bow. Everyone that I have owned has just been fantastic. Smooth, quiet and plenty quick. I've sold a couple to friends that love them, as well. I really want to give one of his new static tip recurves a try.

His customer service sounds fantastic.

Stump Buster

His customer service IS Fantastic! My Firefly is one of my go to bows and hands down favorite takedown longbow. Jim's grips are one of the most comfortable made.

If you can try one, do it, I think you'd enjoy shooting it.

All the Best,

Stump

I just sold one. It's a nice solid bow. The grips fit my hand nicely with the shelf right over my hand, the way I like it.  The mass weight is pretty light. I don't have a bad thing to say about it. You won't go wrong in getting one.

I owned one and my buddy has it now. Not many bows are as smooth and shoot as good. Very quiet and dead in the hand when tuned. Very quick also. His fit and finish are perfect. Don't hesitate to buy one.

Fantastic bowyer! And even better individual.  The top 3 pc takedown In my opinion. Very quiet, quick, and smooth drawing . I favor his 60" and 62"

Post pics when you get it.
I'm not a "deer" hunter, I'm a bow hunter that occasionally shoots a deer.

You won't be sorry. I own a couple of them and they are great bows. Jim is a fine man, call him and talk to him. He will help you out.
Good luck and be sure to post pics.

The firefly was my gold standard for all trad bows and I've sung their praises many times here.  It was responsible for the buck in my avatar and I can't believe how its not more popular than it is.  I'm only into one piece bows now, but if I was to get another three piece, it'd be a firefly without hesitation.
