Pat B.

I have a reloading bench I built years ago so I could stand up and work the press. This bench has several 2x10's for the top. The top comes up to the bottom of my rib cage when I'm standing.

I lay the arrow with the broadhead attached on the edge of this bench. I position the broadhead so the edge is parallel to the bench top. With my thumb holding down the opposite edge down on the bench top I'm able to file the other edge. Since I have the edge parallel to the bench top it also makes it easy to file parallel to the bench top so I can maintain the same bevel..

Like the other guys, I have used just filed heads, honed heads, stropped heads and everything inbetween.. Put 'em in the right place and they will kill reliably..
