It's a very obvious randum noise comming out of the top limb latch. Any suggestions?  Thought about just shooting a little Rem. oil in the socket.

Try a little string wax on the locator pin and the leather pad on clasp. Worked for me at least. You can also do a search that will show what others have done.

Also, mine wasn't a 'snap'
More of a slight 'creak'

Had the same noise Iin the limb pocket a little rem oil on the limb end where it goes in the pocket and it was GONE

The noise is because of a small, really small, movement in the limb pocket. I used some silicone spray from the local hardware store on mine and it is silent now.

String wax on the pin and pad worked for me.
