My Grandson came home with a slightly used, well taken care, of Holm Made recurve.

First time I actually had time to spend talking with Chad.

He is a great guy and makes some very nice bows.

Perhaps I've just had the good fortune to deal only with the best. It wasn't through careful research; just blind luck, I guess.

I have to say though, that the bows I bought new from Chad Holm, Kevin TerMatt and Chad Francis were made by craftsmen who were highly skilled at their trade and sold by people of integrity who took great pride in their work and relations with their customers.

I don't have enough money to try even a small percentage of the bows out there. I'm sure there are some I would never be totally satisfied with.  But, there are some bowyers that just NEVER knock someone else's product and you also NEVER hear a bad word about them. I've owned several of Chad's bows and he is definitely in the cream of the crop and just a great guy to work with.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki
