The 'upside' is I got to try a lot of bows and gear in two years, that's for sure.   Not a whole lot left to tempt me..   :goldtooth:

Same here.  I found a pile of them in my truck not too long ago.  It gets expensive for sure.

The only reason I'm not wringing my hands so much on this 'revelation' is that to be honest, I just haven't had the time to hunt as much as I'd really like...the fun with trying bows only requires my back yard and 10-20 minutes here and there added up.  Hunting I have to set aside hours, days etc that I just don't get enough of.  But anyway, the spending has got to stop haha.

That's a LOT of shipping $$$ considering the average bow ships for around $25-35 ... I truly enjoy trying new bows the problem is I can buy them way faster than I can sell them.

Long before I retired I started a hunting savings account and when the time came to hang up my suits I had enough saved to go hunting for many years. I occasionally dip into it for other " me " stuff but I use it mostly for hunting and fishing and gear.

I enjoy all your bow reviews so don't stop buying too soon ... LOL

Holy crow!! That's a lot of dough!! Lol. I'm a poet and I didn't even know it...
That being said.  I'd hate to think about my numbers. But I don't think it's near that much.  Thank God I throw those receipts out once the person gets the bow and all is well.

Back when I did alot of trading/buying bows I just got in the habit of burning all the receipts.  :readit:

nine, of course I believe you that you are all done buying and trading. I was too, until today.

Went to the Compton Rendezvous just for the day, stopped by Chad Holm's booth and, oh well. Here we go again     :)

There will be pictures, but I need to let it sit on the bow rack for a few days until my wife gets used to seeing it and thinking it was there all along before bring it upstairs for pictures.

And, nice surprise. I met Ron W. there and he's the one responsible for me being at Chad's table. What a personable guy. Wish I could have shot with him tomorrow.

Dude NEVER EVER save that stuff!!!!!  Hunting trips, taxidermy, bows etc.......no evidence.

Like someone on here said - my biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell everything I collected for what I told her I paid for it!!!

Yeah you should see the stack.  Would make tinder for a pretty decent fire LOL.  I need to burn it all and not look back, I agree.

Blade- cool on the Holm!  I love his bows.  His attention to craftsmanship is second to none and the bows shoot like heck!  Nice score.

Pa'- good advice and yes, I have that same fear too...someday if my ghost ever sees a custom being sold for garage sale money I don't know what it will do hahaha!

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!
