I was looking into some feather choppers. I like the design of the Bear Paw design sold by Kustom King. I saw they offered one called the Indian feather design. Can anyone post pictures or explain what this feather cut looks like? Thanks

Paul_R

I have that cutter. It's basically an open ended traditional shape. The forward profile is rounded. You can trim the length/end however you want. I'll post a pic or two when I get home tonight if nobody beats me to it.

This is also called a native cut, or the Raptor cut.  Depends who you're talking to.

Accidentally double posted...   :knothead:

Thanks guys. There are some threads on here right now, that got me going in all sorts of directions. I saw a Vario Clipper, who now looks like Herb's feather cutter. They have some really neat designs and I saw the Indian. Thanks for the pictures and the info.

Here is my version of the "Indian Cut" that was donated to the 2014 PBS Gathering in Cincinnati...
