Anyone ever tried the wicked pole saws?  I am looking for a light weight collapsable tree saw that will hold up to a lot of use.

I have the handsaw and it is wicked. Very well made piece of equipment.

The best one ever was a folding saw that had a screw in female end on the handle to fit into a painters pole and would also take a sapling or limb screwed in real nice for those trips w/o the pole.  I can't find them anymore so I made one using the handle off a paint roller, a folding saw, some work shop engineering and 2 part epoxy.

For tree stand pruning it is tough to beat.  I carry the whole rig when out setting stands and the saw alone most of the time in the woods.  Cut a little sapling or branch, screw it in and extend your reach.

I have been using both the hand saw and pole saw for a couple seasons now and they are 2 of the best tools I've ever used.

I talked to the guy who invented the Wicked line of saws for a long time and that dude has done his homework! I don't think you can go wrong with his products.
