For getting back to 60lbs, if you shake the Magic 8 Ball I bet the answer is "future unclear".    ;)

I got some good news from my surgeon Tuesday, he told me that I could start shooting my heavier bows now that I'm 3 1/2 months out from my surgery. I started shooting my 50 pound longbow this morning kind of as a warm up just to see if I could handle the 60 pound bow that I hunt with. After about a dozen shots with 60 pounds I'm still pain free, I haven't been this excited about archery in almost a year. Can't wait till tomorrow I'm taking my two older daughters to a 3d shoot, first one with them in almost a year. Now its time to get in some serious bowfishing to make up for the lost time during archery season. I wish the best of luck to all of the other guys that responded to my original post who were going through their own shoulder issues.

Slow and steady wins the race.

The lazy do not roast any game,
but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.

Jim I never claimed to be smart enough to take it slow and steady!
