Hi guys, I am considering picking up a buffalo that I have an opportunity to get at a fair price used. I know the buffalo is designed to be shot off the shelf, but can you stick a weatherest on one? Anyone shooting theirs like that now? thanks in advance. Jeff

You can put a weather rest on almost anything....go for it.
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

The only drawback I see is with the radiused sight window the Weather Rest may push your arrow too far to the left. I'd check to see that the left side of the string is touching the right side of the arrow when looking from the string and the string centered.

The guys on hear are awesome.  They will help you out greatly.  I had never shot off the shelf until I purchased my buffalo.  It shoots great  off the shelf.  I would suggest giving it  4 or 5 practice sessions before you put the rest on it.  After that I am with the rest of them, do what ever works for you.
I enjoy the woods taking game is the icing on the cake.
