Shadowcast longbow brace height

I just picked up a Tree's Shadowcast longbow in trade and was wondering what the brace height should be? It is 66" and came to me with a 64" string. I twisted up a new string at 63", but now the brace height is 7 3/4". Just seemed like a little much to me, what do you guys think?
