Killed my first and only deer back in 2004.  Still get out and try though.  Gotta love the woods in the fall, good for the soul.

After many years of hunting deer and seeing more before and after season than during it I am convinced of this... Deer also receive a Hunting Guide! But t gets worse; they not only know the seasons but I also think that they have patterned our habits very well. They probably come out after the morning hunt and stir until we return for the evening hunt.
