Hey fellas I've recently noticed a slight limb twist on the lower limb of my Hill Big 5.  Should I be worried?

Its very unusual to have limb twist in a longbow. Are you positve?

You should call Craig at HH and inquire about it see if he can help.

I've seen the deep core long bow limbs develop a little twist and it didn't effect the way it shot at all.... I've still got the original 64" long bow i built from a Bingham's form that had a bit of twist in the very tip, but it never got worse, and it was twisting towards the shelf side a wee bit and helped my center shot. So i never messed with trying to straighten it.

I'd say just keep an eye on her bro. if it doesn't get too bad, and you can live with it, i'd say it won't hurt a thing.

The thing you do want to check is how the limb is tracking. if the twist is holding steady during the draw, it shouldn't effect your accuracy. But if it's twisting more as you draw the bow, i'd recommend sending it to a bowyer to look at her for you. Sometimes this can easily be corrected, sometimes not.....

I wouldn't recommend any of the home grown limb straightening exercises. You can easily ruin a perfectly good bow trying to straighten it yourself.
