2014 missouri gun season dates?

When is the opener for the 2014 missouri gun season?
Trying to figure out hunt dates for a bow hunt and want to not have it land on the gun opener. I know the gun opener changes each year.
When is the opener for 2014?

Gun season should start Nov. 15th thru the 25th unless they would happen to change it.  It always starts 2 weekends before Thanksgiving.

IT would be wise to check regs from the state wildlife managment folks. Rather than just taking someones word for it.

Nothing out for the 2014 season yet.

I'd bet on those dates.
Generally the best bowhunting is from end of Oct. to gun season.
This year was sorta different everything was late as far as the rut activity.
Also keep in mind the first weekend inn Nov. is usually youth gun season and Orange clothing is required while bowhunting.

It used to always be the second Sat. in November. The same day as the Pheasant opener in Kansas.

Always had to choose between going East to hunt Deer or West to hunt Pheasant.

Nov 15th, better come this year next year it will be earlier, I might actually hunt in my home state next year.

I would bet on Nov 15th for starting date of firearms season. Don't forget what Ron said about youth season. You have to have orange then also and it can screw up a good bowhunting weekend.

Thank you guys. I hunt Missouri every year but always the first week of Nov. Thinking of making it a a few days later next year but don't want to too close to the gun opener. Think I'll do something like the 5th thru 12th if opener is on 15th.
