Hey fellow trad members. Im new to bow building and am workimg on a bow for a Christmas present for my father in law. He loves elk so I want to do an elk themed bow. Has any of yall ever used elk rawhide for backing? Im afraid it may be to thick. Any advice wou ld be appreciated! also, where can I get some?
