missing the early season

Missing the leaves, warmer temps and cover.
Went out tonight, 27 degrees.
Blew 3 deer out of their beds 70 yds out.

I welcome the cold temps... Adds to the adventure!  And I remember sweeting like a pig the first week of October... I do not miss that.  Actually, each month of the season has it's special joys... This year is going by to fast!
