This is an area behind my house that I am planning to turn into a small food plot for the deer.  After clearing out a lot of brush and grape vines around a small oak tree the deer discovered a new place to make a scrape.  I decided to get two for one with the camera placement by adding the carcass and hide from a recent buck I shot but did not imagine getting both in the same pic!!  Raptor and buck shot with my house in the back ground.  Kind of cool.

Very unique picture. Redtails are my favorite hawk.

I did not think a buck would care less about its what's left of its dead counterpart.
I enjoy the woods taking game is the icing on the cake.

Rays Arrows - I have had a carcass cam in the woods for many years and I get a lot of raptor pics, some coyotes, depending on weather many other vermin - but surprisingly I have had many, many pics of other deer coming to investigate.  Not only does it not bother them - but it actually makes them curious.
