i have a 49@28 hybrid long bow with heritage 150 they must be cut too short with 125 gr tips. with heritage 250 and 125 gr tip they bareshaft perfect @ 30 1/8" what other arrows will work besides these expensive arrows and what would have to be done to use the heritage 150's

Surprised that the 150's don't work for you.  If you were set on using them you could try to add weight to the nock end to stiffen them up.
For carbons I like the Beman ICS hunter (black shafts) in 500 spine for my 48@27" dwyer longbow.  They're real tough, especially if you foot them and you can usually find them for about $55 a dozen.  Good luck.

Call big Jim and ask him which gt will work.  His gt blems are a great deal.

Bladepeek

That must be a really hot 49# bow. I can shoot CE150s 30 1/4 with 145gr and with 250s @ 30.5" I have to put 250 up front.
60" Bear Super K LH 40#@28
69" Matt Meacham LH 42@28
66" Swift Wing LH 35@28
54" Java Man Elk Heart LH 43@28
62"/58" RER LXR LH 44/40@28

Lee, try to put more weight on the front. Something is not right. Carbons like weight up front and with a 50 lb bow you should have at least 200 there.

I just try to live my life in a way that would have made my father proud.

Fanto

It would be GT3555s. 30" with 125gr points or shorter with more weight. 29" 200gr plus

I use trads at shoots, but xt hunters for hunting. the goats don't know the difference
