I was hoping someone could tell me recommended brace height for my 64" mohawk longbow. I can't find the paperwork the bow came with and I have it at 7 1/8" but somehow my nocking point is really high. I'm not sure if my nocking point slid up my string. I haven't been shooting much and want to get the bow set close to spec. Thanks

I have several Mohawks and I keep the nocking point at around 6 1/2 to 6 3/4 fro0m the rear of the riser at the rest. Works well for me there.
You can experiment with it and see if there nis a spot it seems to shoot better from.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

I have a one marked 66" that works well  at 6 3/4 - 7". I'm using 64" string; measuring brace height to the lowest part on the grip.

so you guys are not measuring from lowest point of grip....but rather back of riser?

i have been running mine (Sparrowhawk) 7" from deepest part of the locator grip...seems to be good
Keep em sharp,

Thanks to all. Just got back in from shooting but need to wait for daylight to really check arrow flight.
