Hidden Hunter blinds - can the "covering" be changed?

Hi gang!

I listed a new Hidden Hunter blind for sale / trade in the classifieds, basically because it is the wrong pattern (Fall Predator Grey) for the area I need it for.  It got me thinking, though, about whether its possible to order a different pattern "cover" and reuse the existing frame?  That would be awesome if I could!

Its buried in my garage and I'm not easily able to get to it to look.  I thought it may be easier to ask one of you.

Has anyone done this?

Looks doable, just have to un-bolt the top and bottom rod hubs. Take it apart and put the rods in the new cover and bolt it back together......if...they will sell you just the cover material.

Also, if it is as new, they may exchange covers for your desired pattern, worth a call for sure.

Thanks!  I'll give them a call today, and post what I learn in case anyone else runs into the same issue.

John,

Just an aside.  I purchased the Hidden Hunter that was donated in the St. Jude's Auction this year.  It too is in the Fall Predator Blend.  My experience with it is that deer do not even see it.  When brushed in, it is nearly invisible even in pines and along field edges.

Be interesting to see what you find out, though.

BC, thanks for the input.  Oddly, I got it more for spring turkey than for deer.  I'm just a little slow in getting around to things, and seeing as I'm stuck in front of a computer 60 hours a week now, I have some time to investigate these things.  My worry was that the fall predator gray wouldn't be a good fit for spring turkey

I just received a call back from Andy at Northwoods.  They are going to swap it out for me and send it back.  That's GREAT service!
