Had to do a little cleaning around my set-up yesterday afternoon and found my first scrape of the year.  Looks like it was made either yesterday morning or the night before.  Good thing is that it is only about 10 yds. from my set-up.  Hope he comes by on the 28th about 7:00 AM.

I found 2 here in Northern Nova Scotia today. Side by each and 1 day old only. Hanging the trail cam tomo and a stand nearby as well.

I seen some rubs on trees but no scrapes on the ground yet.

Here in PA we get them in September but along field edges.  Not a breeding scrape but a trial run that seems to occur about 1-2 weeks after velvet rubbing.
Around here they are never hit again.

Found three in a row yesterday. Actually stepped in one on my way to my stand. Saw 7 bucks, 6 were together. Then saw the scrapes on my way out.

I found 3 in the last couple of days, they have been along the edge of a field on an old logging road, like others have said these appear and are quickly abandoned until later in the year.
