Bowyer out of business.
Thoughts, please?   [/IMG]   [/IMG]   [/IMG] [/IMG]   [/IMG]

The light stripe might be walnut ( likely) or shedua.  The rest of the riser and the overlay looks like bubinga. Not a good enough pix of the limbs to make a judgment on the laminations, but the fella out of Iowa who built Shawnee longbows a while back tended to use elm in the limbs.  Don't know if he's the same builder. Handle pistol grip shape kind of looks like one of his though.

To me the riser looks like bubinga with a shedua stripe, maybe I'm wrong? The limbs look like flat grain red elm maybe?

Orion

309:  Great minds think alike.   :goldtooth:

JRY309

Looks alot like my Thunder Mt. Coyote except for the stripe!

Hot Hap

I agree w/309 flat grain on back and edge grain on the belly. Hap

Shawn Leonard

I think bubinga and shedua as someone above said, actually pretty sure on the bubinga and the limbs are red elm. Shawn
