Rick7,
is the Mahaska longbow a radical reflex deflex or mild? Also what was the specs on yours? Looking at the pictures on his web sight they look like they have a comfortable grip. What limb wood did you have?

Susquehannabum

Got one made with Cocobolo and red elm limbs. Good shooter. Sent you an email.

kindor

It's a very mild r/d, and an excellent hunting bow, here is pics of one I had

Kinder thanks for the picture. That is what I was wanting to see because I don't want a very radical reflex deflex longbow.
I noticed you owned a Lofton longbow. I just wanted you to know that Mr.Lofton was a good friend of mine. He was from Mississippi.

Got mine about two weeks ago . It's Western Cedar and Osage for the rizer .It looks good and shoots good too .52# @62" I think the cedar is already starting to darken a bit. Kent is not taking any more orders till after Sept. Elk hunt in New Mexico. You will like his bows no matter what you decide on.I will post some pictures of my new bow later.

His southwestern cedar always impresses me
