Does anybody use tracer feathers?  I put bright pink on four arrows and love them.  I can see the flight and impact.  I bet its just a guess but I feel better/shoot better with them.  I'll take any help I think I have.  Still learning this game of traditional archery...love every minute of it.

i use off and on if they match my feather choice constant changing.wish  they made more colors cause i do like them i also think they somehow make you a better shot somehow.with you being able to see the flight better.

I generally use all white feathers and they are pretty easy to track the flight and see a hit.

I once used white rabbit hair tracers on a black bear hunt. You used to wrap them around the arrow between the feathers and nock. They laid flat in flight but when you hit something they open up and really show where you hit. They stuck out like a sore thumb when I whacked a black bear. Now if I make my own arrows I use all white feathers.

My feathers are University of Florida colors.  My sons a senior there. I'm thinking about other tracer feathers colors.

I also use fly tying rabbit fur they are called Zonker strips and they come in lots of different colors, they allow me to use darker feathers and still see the arrow fly and hit,and it gives me more confidence in my hiding ability while I am on the ground.

I also use rabbit zonkers for tracers with my arrows. I use them with either turkey of goose feathers.

Same here, rabbit strips from the fly tieing shop are much cheaper than commercial "tracers".  I use contact cement to attach to my arrows.  I have tried chartruese and hot pink and they are both good for seeing your arrow but I stayed with hot pink for a bit easier arrow recovery.

I prefer white. Easily seen in all light conditions. I've found the easiest way to attach them is with fletch tape. Wrap the fletch tape around the shaft then add the pre-measured zonker to that.

I also used the rabbit fur strips many many years ago.  I really like them - however when we went to an archery shoot one time, the grasshoppers were really bad.  We stopped to eat lunch before the 2nd round.  I had layed my bow in the grass and when I returned all the rabbit fur was gone.  The grasshoppers had eaten them as all the vegatation was also gone.
